Overview

TypingMind lets you paste any OpenAI-compatible endpoint as a custom model. Add UnoRouter and use any model from the catalog.

Step-by-step setup

   Open Models

   Click the gear icon, go to Models, then Add Custom Models.

   Pick OpenAI as the API type

   TypingMind uses the OpenAI Chat Completions schema for custom endpoints.

   Fill the endpoint

   Enter the base URL, your UnoRouter API key, and a model id.

   Sign in to auto-fill your API key

   Test and add

   Toggle Plugins or Vision only if your model supports them. Click Test, then Add Model.

Recommended models

Free models that work well here. Paste any model id into the client.

Gotchas

• !Plugins (function calling) only work on models with native tool support. Pick a tool-capable model for plugin-driven flows.
• !The Vision toggle only works on models that support image input. Check the catalog before enabling it.
